It’s great to see more people embracing walking. “Hot girl walks” are trending, and I love that for the girlies! But sometimes, we get so caught up in the aesthetic side of walking that we forget about its deeper benefits

Around 2019, I started walking primarily for weight loss. Over time, this led to an unhealthy relationship with exercise, which contributed to struggles with an eating disorder and body dysmorphia. Movement became all about losing weight, and I lost sight of its true beauty.
