2024 flew by, keeping me on my toes with unexpected adventures and lessons. From spontaneous travels to personal growth, this year was full of surprises that taught me a lot. Here’s some wisdom from 2024 that I hope inspires and encourages you, too!

You Can Do It Too

We all poop the same, as a health coach once told me. Gross, maybe, but true! We’re all built pretty much the same. If others can do it, so can you. With the right strategy, you can achieve whatever you set out to do.

Self-Sabotage Is Actually Fear

When we sabotage ourselves, it’s often because we’re afraid of failing again or fear the unknown. It’s a way of protecting ourselves from the sting of failure. But give yourself a chance, girl—you might surprise yourself.

None of Us Have It All Together

I know so many ‘grown-ups’ I admire who are still struggling and figuring things out. No one has it all together, so give yourself a little grace.

Comparison Is the Thief of Joy

It’s true: comparison steals our joy. Admit it—we all compare ourselves sometimes. But instead of letting that rob you of happiness, try to let others inspire you instead.

Your Spiritual Health Matters

Spiritual health is just like physical health—if you neglect it, it becomes unhealthy. Take time to build your relationship with God.

Movement Is Medicine

Not everything has to be about weight loss. I walk because I enjoy it, love nature, and want to take care of my body because it was created to move. Weight train because you want to age well, feel stronger, and be more confident.

Nobody’s Coming to Save You

Aside from Jesus, who died on the cross to save us (John 3:16), no one is coming to ‘save’ you. Yes, you can have a support system, but when it comes to achieving your goals, you have to make the decision to take action and strive to reach them.

We’re All the Same

To bring it back to my first point, the more I get close to people and have deeper conversations, the more I realize we’re all pretty much the same. From dealing with doubts and insecurities to what and how we post on social media and low-key stalking our crushes, we’re all full of flaws, so stop idolizing others.

Alright, girl, go out there and be great! Remember: life is full of ups and downs, but it’s all part of the journey. Embrace your flaws, give yourself grace, and keep learning along the way. You’ve got this!”
